Have a piano to move in Chattanooga or need a written quote before you commit to a date? Call, email, or send a few photos of the piano and the spaces at both ends — office manager Denise Callahan gets most quotes back out the same day.

Off Amnicola Highway near the river, this is where the trucks, boards, and crating stock sit between jobs — swing by, or call ahead to make sure a crew’s in.
Owner Walter Shoffner spent twelve years rebuilding upright and grand pianos before he ever loaded one onto a truck, and that’s still who Chattanooga calls for the hardest rigging jobs.
New hires shadow rigging jobs under Terrence Wade until they can handle the boards, skids, and stair straps without him standing over their shoulder — nobody learns on your piano first.
Stairwells, elevators, gate codes, and venue load-in windows get confirmed with the building days ahead, so a crew doesn’t show up to a piano that can’t get through the door it was measured for.
Our household goods registration and our own federal DOT and MC authority are on file before you ever ask to see them — no subcontracted carrier standing in for us on move day.
Cancel or reschedule 72 hours or more before your move date and the deposit is refunded in full — an ice storm or a closing delay doesn’t cost you anything extra.
The flat rate quoted on the phone is the flat rate on the invoice, whether the move happens in a dry October or the middle of a humid Chattanooga August.
Padding, blanket-wrapping, and crating follow the same process whether the piano is going three miles across town or three states up the interstate toward Nashville.
Switchback driveways on Signal Mountain and narrow shotgun-house staircases downtown aren’t a surprise to a crew that rigs them regularly — the flat rate accounts for the terrain before the truck arrives.
Terrence or Yolanda runs your job from the first walkthrough to the final setdown — not a different lead every time the piano changes hands.
Nothing rewritten, nothing trimmed — this is what people told us after the truck pulled away.
Three flights, one landing turn, no elevator — the crew had our upright wrapped and rigged through it in under twenty minutes.
An ice storm pushed our date back five days and the quote didn’t change by a dollar — same crew, same truck, just a Thursday instead of a Saturday.
Our piano was crated for the drive to Huntsville and came off the truck exactly like it left — not one hairline crack in the finish.
Load-in for the recital happened two hours before doors, exactly when Denise said it would — the piano was tuned and ready before a single seat filled.
My grandmother’s upright is eighty years old and they moved it like they knew that — blankets on every corner, straps that never touched the finish.
